We hope you were able to join us yesterday, November 2, on an exciting Canadian Business Call, hosted by North America President Rich Razgaitis, who shared some tremendous information with everyone about the state of the business, products, and what to look forward to in the coming months.

But we understand many of you are busy, so here is a quick wrap-up of the conference call, which also featured Chief Scientific Officer Stephen Cherniske, Univera Canada General Manager Bijan Movafegh, and Univera Canada Sales & Marketing Director Rob Park.

Rich shared some preliminary numbers for both Canada and North America:

• Convenience Plan numbers remain stable in October, compared to September
• Daily sales in Canada increased by 10% in October, over September
• Customer Enrollment comparable to September
• Associate Enrollments up 110% in October, compared to September

Putting that into context, Rich pointed out that the industry in general is still down about 18% in enrollments, but for Univera North America in October, our enrollments actually doubled.

While month-end numbers are still being crunched, Rich lauded all the Associates for a great month of hard work and affirmed Univera's commitment to seeing that the Canadian market has all the resources needed to grow and expand. "We completely and firmly believe that Canada has the potential and will double or triple in size in the next year or two."

Next, Rob Park gave listeners more information about Univera Canada (formerly Matol), its long history of successes, and current resources available to supporting Univera's plans for growth in the country, including:

• Staff of 20-25 people - a majority of whom have more than 15 years experience in the industry to provide impeccable customer service
• International experience in more than 10 countries
• Executive staff skilled in Canadian market and regulatory agencies
• East/West distribution centers to optimize shipping and avoid past issues such as frozen products

Additionally, Univera Canada's Montreal offices also provide a great training facility with a 130-person capacity that Associates in the area are encouraged to use. The Montreal offices, like those in Lacey, Wash., also provide home office tours, so please take advantage of them.

"Overall, we're here to listen, we want to work with you and assist you to help you build your Canadian business," he said.

Bijan echoed Rob's comments and added that between the individuals currently working at the Montreal offices, they boast more than 300 years of experience in the industry. "We know the rules and regulations, especially in Canada. We know how to provide statistics and detailed information for Health Canada. We are getting ready for our transition, and you can be assured that we will make it as smooth as possible so that you don't feel any pain when this thing happens. We are here to serve you."

Stephen next came on the call to give the Canadian Associates all the details they need to start promoting two new products just launched in Canada today: Florasterol and the L'initie Complete Hydrating System. Supplementing with Florasterol is a safe way to maintain healthy cholesterol, and L'initie - working both internally via a capsule and externally via a moisturizing cream - is optimal hydration support for your skin. L'initie also makes an excellent Christmas gift!

Rich also reminded everyone that in addition to these new products, PRIME-C, and MetaGreens are available in Canada, which are great ways to maintain optimal immune competence, according to Stephen. The last two products yet to make it across the border are Rhythmatix and Super Immune, but Rich assured everyone that it is making its way over there soon, so stay tuned.

Rich ended the call with a reminder about the ongoing Fall 2009 Road Tour that is making numerous stops in cities across North America. The Executive Team, including Rich, Stephen, Rob, CEO Regan Miles, and Director of Sales, U.S.A.
